世界上陸地面積第三大、人口最多的國家。2001年加WTO後，人均GDP 從一千美元上升到2020年的一萬美元，一躍而升成為全球第二大經濟體。近年來積極推動由國家主席習近平提出的一帶一路計畫，已和超過140個國家簽署相關合作文件。2018年起，對外和川普領導的美國展開激烈貿易戰，對內則爆發新疆維吾爾再教育營、香港反送中事件等爭議。對外宣稱擁有台灣主權，但並未實質統治台灣。

The third largest country by land area and most populous country in the world. 

After joining the WTO in 2001, China’s GDP per capita rose from one thousand U.S. dollars to 10,000 U.S. dollars in 2020, making it the second largest economy in the world. In recent years, the country has been actively promoting the Belt and Road Initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping and has signed cooperation documents with more than 140 countries. Since 2018, externally China entered into a fierce trade war with the United States under Trump’s administration and internal controversies like Xinjiang Uyghur re-education camps and Hong Kong anti-extradition law protests broke out. China claims to have sovereignty over Taiwan but has never been its de facto ruler.
